Rochester and Rutherford Hall is fortunate to be situated in a park-like setting with spacious grounds, thereby enabling a variety of outdoor activity.

Volleyball is particularly popular.

"For many years the Hall has encouraged student music. It has been home to a number of performance students.

Other residents with musical talent have also appreciated the Hall's facilities, and regularly take an active part in the Hall's cultural life."

Academic support

First year Chemistry tutorial.

"Academic support is provided through the appointment of three senior and graduate students as live-in Tutors.

In addition there is small but comprehensive Hall tutorial system and upgraded array of computer facilities."
