Rochester and Rutherford Hall provide an outstanding versatile venue for retreats, conferences, functions and a range of events during the University vacations. We can accommodate up to 192 guests in king single rooms and we offer a few self-contained flats for staff or keynote speakers. We can accommodate for a wide range of events using multiple break-out rooms, where space and resource will provide comfort and easy access. All catering is provided by our on-site chefs utilizing the skills of the team from T.L Catering.
What we offer
You will be welcomed by the team at Rochester & Rutherford Hall and treated to excellent service, and a beautiful space to host your event. If you choose to use the bedrooms, you will be provided with fresh linen and towels. Each floor has a large shared bathroom and a kitchenette available for use. Of course our wonderful housekeeping team will ensure the rooms and common areas are well kept during your stay. Our common spaces include a spacious Dining Hall with a removable stage, the Yardley Study Centre which is ideal for hosting smaller meetings or seminars, a Reading Room for those who wish to enjoy some relaxation time, and a Recreation Room. Our beautiful Chapel is available for use for those who would like to run a service, or for reflection and prayer. Free onsite parking is also available.
